Job summary

IMG Studios in Stockley Park, Uxbridge, is seeking a Studio Technician to provide support for all studio productions, utilizing technical skills across a range of operational roles within the studio and gallery facilities.

From technical support through to camera operations, you will work in a live environment, with a 6-month fixed-term contract and a 40-hour week. This role requires weekend work and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

Previous multi-skilled technical ops experience in studio production.
Excellent understanding of the production process.
Experience working in a live studio environment.
Good knowledge of broadcast equipment and systems (cameras, sound, vision, lighting, graphics).

Responsibilities

Operate key equipment on the studio floor or PCR in a live environment.
Prepare equipment for studio ops from rig to derig (cameras, lighting, EVS, sound, graphics).
Assist STM with wrap and closing down of studio at end of day.
Assist with technical maintenance and report faults to Engineering.
Store equipment safely after use.
Support live operations across the facility (vodcast, TX playout, gallery or studio).
Assist freelance studio crew with IMG kit under supervision.
Build relationships with production teams and IMG colleagues.
Comply with IMG studio Health and Safety policies.
