Job summary
IMG Studios in the United Kingdom seeks a Broadcast Engineer to support busy live studios, post production and transmission facilities. You will assist the Lead Engineer, manage live studio operations, and help drive engineering projects to ensure seamless on-air output.
The role requires proven broadcast engineering experience, strong knowledge of ST 2110/AES67/NMOS, and calm, proactive problem solving. 7 x 12 hour shifts and weekend work may be required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as TV Facilities or Broadcast Engineer in studio, transmission, and post-production environments.
- Strong understanding of broadcast workflows for live sports or fast-paced productions.
- Knowledge of broadcast IT/IP infrastructure and standards.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, calm under pressure with strong troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive support and maintenance for busy live studios.
- Support Lead Engineer and clients in IMG facilities.
- Contribute to engineering developments and special projects.
- Maintain required paperwork to ensure department efficiency.
- Carry out additional duties within scope of job.
