Job summary

QVC UK is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support our broadcast infrastructure on-site at the Media and Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park. You will provide system support for broadcast equipment and assist end users, with shift-based work to ensure 24x7 availability.

You will analyse escalated incidents, document standards, and support systems across video routers, audio mixers, cameras, robotics, switchers, intercoms, and web streaming. A strong broadcast background and OS fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Broadcast Technology or related qualification.
• Broadcast Engineering experience is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office packages including Visio.
• Fluency with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Familiar with playout systems and video formats.

Responsibilities

• Provide system support for broadcast infrastructure and end users.
• Analyze root causes of escalated incidents related to broadcasting systems.
• Develop and document standards and procedures for broadcasting systems.
• Support omni-channel broadcasting systems including after-hours support.
