Job summary

Caval is seeking an experienced Site Manager in Birmingham to oversee refurbishment works on a live lift project within a busy shopping centre. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage day-to-day site operations, and ensure strict health and safety compliance while maintaining programme and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card and SMSTS are essential
• First Aid and Asbestos Awareness are essential
• Extensive construction management experience required
• Experience delivering lift refurbishment or upgrade projects in live environments
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, permit-to-work and quality control

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to site progress meetings
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager
• Maintain site records, permits and documentation
