Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to cover East Birmingham, Coleshill and surrounding areas. The role involves supporting the Site Manager on refurbishment projects, coordinating programmes and ensuring works are delivered safely and on time.

The ideal candidate will have experience in social housing or refurbishment, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to liaise with clients, residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or similar sector.
• Previous experience as RLO, Site Supervisor, Assistant Site Manager or similar.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Confidence to communicate with tenants, clients and contractors.
• Proactive approach and willingness to develop within site management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and coordination of refurbishment programmes.
• Monitor progress to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with clients, residents, tenants and contractors.
• Provide regular updates on programme progress and upcoming works.
• Help resolve issues and queries throughout the programme.
• Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of projects.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety.
• Help coordinate operatives and subcontractors where required.
• Maintain accurate records and programme information.
