Job summary

Active Care Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Female Live-In Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 60s living with an Acquired Brain Injury. The role focuses on promoting independence, supporting medication management, nutrition, and meaningful activities, with no personal care required.

You will provide 1:1 support in a flexible live-in arrangement (typically 1–2 weeks on/off) with 12-hour day shifts, helping with daily living, risk management, and community access.

Qualifications

• Role requires compassionate, reliable, physically capable individual.
• No personal care is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Promoting independence and supporting daily living activities.
• Supporting medication routines and encouraging adherence.
• Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and maintaining good nutrition.
• Encouraging engagement in meaningful activities and community access.
• Supporting positive decision-making and risk management.
• Supporting with household tasks as required.
• Walking and helping care for the client's dog.
