Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Live-In Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his 60s with ABI. The role focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life in the client’s own home.

You will provide 1:1 support, help manage risks, and encourage nutrition and activity. No personal care is required, and a full UK driving licence is essential for travel between placements.

Qualifications

• 1:1 support experience with adults preferred.
• No personal care required; focus on independence and wellbeing.
• Strong communication and observation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Promoting independence and supporting daily living activities.
• Supporting medication routines and encouraging adherence.
• Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and maintaining good nutrition.
• Encouraging engagement in meaningful activities and community access.
• Supporting positive decision-making and risk management.
• Assisting with household tasks as required.
• Walking and helping care for the client's dog.
