Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a reliable Personal Care Assistant to support a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in his daily life, promoting independence and community engagement.

You will provide personal care, meal prep, medication prompts, and companionship, with practical help and flexible hours across daytime and evenings, including every other Saturday.

Full training provided; ideal candidates are patient, friendly, and respectful of privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering person-centred support.
• Ability to communicate effectively and preserve privacy.
• Flexible to cover daytime, evenings and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support toileting and medication prompts as required.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding where needed.
• Assist using and managing a wheelchair.
• Support access to community activities and day services.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Promote independence, choice and wellbeing.
