Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Live-In Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his 60s with ABI. The role focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life in the client’s own home.

You will provide 1:1 support, help manage risks, and encourage nutrition and activity. No personal care is required, and a full UK driving licence is essential for travel between placements.

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and physically capable Female Live-In Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 60s who is living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) following a head injury. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life within the client's own home.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, helping the client maintain a fulfilling and active lifestyle while managing identified risks and encouraging independence. No personal care is required. The focus of the role is on promoting independence, supporting medication management, encouraging good nutrition, managing risk, and enhancing the client's overall quality of life.

When you\'ll be working

Flexible live-in assignments (typically 1–2 weeks on / off) 12 hour day shifts
