Job summary

Medicare People Limited is seeking a compassionate Live-in Carer for assignments across Maidstone. You will provide person-centred support in clients’ homes, build strong relationships with families, and assist with daily living activities while promoting safety and independence.

We welcome applicants with at least 6 months UK care experience, a caring attitude, and good communication skills. Flexible placements, 24/7 support, and ongoing training are offered to help you grow in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK
• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care welcomed but not essential
• Medication experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in clients' homes
• Build positive relationships with clients and families
• Assist with personal care and everyday living tasks
• Support mobility and moving and handling requirements
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks
• Ensure medication is administered correctly
• Help with household chores and laundry
• Support clients with errands and appointments
• Monitor physical and emotional wellbeing
• Work closely with healthcare professionals and the care team
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Help clients remain comfortable, independent and safe at home
