Job summary

Medicare People Limited in Egham is seeking a kind Live-in Carer to provide person-centred support in clients' homes. You will deliver one-to-one care, assist with daily living, personal care, meals and mobility, and monitor wellbeing with families and care managers.

We offer flexible placements across Egham, free accommodation during placement, ongoing support, training and a supportive team culture with 24/7 access to care managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential.
• Experience administering medication is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care within the client's home
• Support clients with personal care and hygiene needs
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities
• Prepare nutritious meals and encourage hydration
• Administer and record medication as required
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Complete important errands when needed
• Monitor wellbeing and escalatate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate daily care records
• Communicate effectively with families and professionals
• Promote independence and improve quality of life
