Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care is seeking a Live In Carer based in Wales to provide one-to-one care and companionship in customers' homes. You will support with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication administration while travelling across Wales to placements and maintaining high standards of care.

The role offers flexibility, ongoing training, and opportunities to build a long-term career within a leading home care provider in the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience, including administering medication.
• Ability to travel across Wales to placements.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes within Wales.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and assisting customers to the toilet.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers remain safe and independent.
• Administer and manage medication in line with care plans.
• Prepare meals and support with light household tasks.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.

Wales Based - Live-in Care Assistant

As a Live In Carer in Wales with Helping Hands, you'll support people to stay independent in the comfort of their own homes by providing personalised one-to-one care, whilst enjoying fully covered living costs and flexible working patterns.

This is a role where relationships matter. You'll spend time getting to know the people you support, understanding what matters to them and providing consistent, personalised care that helps them stay safe, confident and connected to the life they love.
