Job summary

LQS Healthcare Services in the United Kingdom seeks compassionate Live-in carers to support individuals in their own homes, helping them stay independent and safe. You will become an essential part of the client’s daily life and well-being.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, medication assistance, meaningful activities and companionship, plus light housekeeping. DBS check required; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Live-in carer.
• Female only due to client preference.
• Driving isn't essential.
• A caring, empathetic and compassionate individual with a genuine desire to help others in need of care.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to perform lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.

• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Support clients with medication management and adherence to prescribed health plans.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to our Registered Manager.

Length of stay: Flexible, ideally 2 weeks on with 2 weeks off. Open to hearing candidates’ requirements.
