Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Live In Carer based in Wales to support clients at home, helping them stay independent with one-to-one care. You'll work with flexible hours and receive fully covered living costs while on placement.

You'll provide companionship, personal care, mobility support and medication management, building trusted relationships with clients, families and health professionals across Wales.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience, including administering medication.
• The Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across Wales for placements.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes within Wales.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and assisting customers to the toilet.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers remain safe and independent.
• Administer and manage medication in line with care plans.
• Prepare meals and support with light household tasks.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.

Wales Based - Live-in Care Assistant

As a Live In Carer in Wales with Helping Hands, you’ll support people to stay independent in the comfort of their own homes by providing personalised one-to-one care, whilst enjoying fully covered living costs and flexible working patterns.

This is a role where relationships matter. You'll spend time getting to know the people you support, understanding what matters to them and providing consistent, personalised care that helps them stay safe, confident and connected to the life they love.
