Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in North Devon and Exmoor area as a Live-In Care Professional. As a Live-In Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them stay independent in their own home.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  1. Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life.
  2. Follow the client’s house rules and respect their need for privacy, as you will be staying in their home.
  3. Document daily activities and report any changes or concerns regarding the client’s needs or living conditions, especially if you are the only person the client sees over a period of time.
  4. Know when to seek help and advice to ensure client safety and promote their well-being.
  5. Maintain regular communication with line managers and office staff.
  6. Stimulate and encourage clients through activities such as clothing selection, hobbies, and crafts.
  7. Perform light housekeeping tasks.
  8. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care.
