Bluebird Care Market Harborough & Oadby is looking for a compassionate Live-In Care Assistant to join our team. You will live in the home of one of our customers and provide tailored personal care, companionship, and support to promote independence and dignity.

We offer expert training, ongoing support from our care team, paid breaks, accommodation during placement, and a structured induction to help you develop your skills while making a real difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate approach to support daily living needs.
• Willingness to live in with a customer for the shift pattern.
• Able to follow care plans and maintain confidentiality.
• Committed to training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and support independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility needs.
• Manage medications and prepare meals as required.
• Handle household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support social activities and help maintain community connections.
• Provide comfort during illness, hospital visits or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with the care team.
• Paid breaks and accommodation during placement.
• Full induction and expert training with ongoing development.
• 24/7 support from the dedicated Bluebird Care team.
• Flexible patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks).
• Pension scheme and travel expense reimbursement.
