Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking Live-in Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care in customers' own homes across Hampshire and South Buckinghamshire. You’ll live with the customer, support independence, dignity and wellbeing, and work both independently and as part of a compassionate team.

We offer expert training, paid breaks, and a competitive weekly salary of £777-£978.67 with 28 days paid holiday pro rata, plus enhancements on bank holidays and a clear career pathway.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care tailored to the customer and encourage independence
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, continence care and mobility
• Support with medication and preparing meals
• Take care of household tasks e.g. laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Work independently with support from our team for advice and guidance
• Support customers to stay connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
