Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a Live-in Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes across Hampshire, including Alton, Petersfield and Havant. You will live with the client, providing high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing, working both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• A kind, compassionate attitude

• Great communication skills
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required – full training provided

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care tailored to the customer
• Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, continence, mobility)
• Support with medication and preparing meals
• Handle household tasks (laundry, cleaning, shopping)
• Work independently with team support as needed
• Help customers stay connected to their community through activities and visits
• Provide comfort and care during illness, hospital visits or end-of-life care
