Job summary

Bluebird Care Havant is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care in customers’ own homes, promoting independence and wellbeing. The role may involve working in Havant and surrounding areas with flexible shifts to meet client needs.

You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, delivering compassionate care, assisting with daily activities, and building trust with clients and their families. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Weekend availability (every other weekend or one day each weekend).
• No previous care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each customer’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support with nutrition and hydration, including meal planning and preparation.
• Help with medication and prescriptions.
• Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning).
• Be a dependable, friendly, and familiar face for our customers.
