Job summary

Daytona Motorsport in Esher is seeking a Catering Assistant to support day-to-day catering operations during racing events. You will help prepare and serve food, maintain hygiene standards, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced venue.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities to develop skills in live events and high-volume service. This role is based at Daytona Sandown Park, Esher.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen, catering or food service is desirable.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Food hygiene knowledge or certification (preferred).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with business requirements.
• Serve customers efficiently and provide friendly, professional service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times.
• Support stock control, storage and rotation of ingredients.
• Keep kitchen and service areas organised and well maintained.
• Work closely with the wider team to support events and busy periods.
• Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations.
