Job summary

Braehead Arena is seeking a Part Time Game Night Box Office Operative to join the Ticketing team in Glasgow. You will help customers purchase, collect and resolve queries relating to tickets, delivering friendly, efficient service on event nights.

Evenings and weekends, including Glasgow Clan home games and arena events, are expected. Full training on ticketing systems will be provided and you’ll work as part of a busy, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful.
• Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming and professional service to supporters and visitors.
• Sell tickets for Glasgow Clan games and arena events.
• Process customer transactions accurately using ticketing and payment systems.
• Assist customers with ticket collections and digital ticket queries.
• Help customers locate bookings and resolve straightforward ticketing issues.
• Assist with seating enquiries and help customers understand the seating plan.
• Process ticket upgrades, exchanges or other authorised changes.
• Support customers with accessible seating and companion ticket enquiries.
• Provide information regarding events, timings, seating and facilities.
• Escalate complex issues to the Ticketing Manager or Duty Manager.
• Maintain an organized and professional Box Office environment.
• Follow procedures for payments, customer information and data protection.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues in Ticketing and Event Operations.
• Support the wider venue team during busy events.
• Represent Braehead Arena, Glasgow Clan and Braehead Ice Centre positively.
