Job summary

QVC UK is seeking a Broadcast Systems Engineer to support the broadcast infrastructure and assist end users across the UK operations. The role is part of QVC Group and focuses on maintaining high availability of critical broadcast systems.

You will perform root cause analysis, document standards, manage small to medium projects, and ensure 24x7x365 availability of video routers, audio mixers, cameras, robotics and intercom systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a television broadcast environment.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis of complex incidents.
• Ability to respond quickly to live broadcast issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide root cause analysis of escalated and complex incidents related to broadcasting systems.
• Impart technical expertise of broadcasting standards to the UK Broadcast Engineering team.
• Manage and optimize system performance to ensure 24x7x365 availability.
