Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Broadcast Systems Engineer to support the UK operation and provide system support for the broadcast infrastructure. The role is onsite at the Media and Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park and follows a shift-based schedule.

You will work with video routers, audio mixers, cameras, robotics, switchers, and intercom systems while ensuring 24x7 availability and applying established broadcasting standards across the team.

Qualifications

  • Engineering experience in a television broadcast environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex live broadcast systems quickly.
  • Experience with large broadcast infrastructure and equipment.
  • CAD design experience is a plus.
  • Experience installing, monitoring and troubleshooting broadcast gear is a plus.
  • Knowledge of broadcasting standards for UK operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide root cause analysis of escalated incidents related to broadcasting systems.
  • Share technical expertise on established broadcasting standards with the UK team.
  • Manage and optimize system performance for 24x7 availability.
  • Develop and document standards and procedures for all broadcasting systems.
  • Manage small to medium broadcasting projects.
  • Provide system support for video routers, audio mixers, cameras, robotics, switchers, intercom, etc.
