Job summary

eNL is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its Warwickshire team. You will handle a broad civil and commercial litigation caseload, advising on contractual and debt disputes, property and boundary matters, professional negligence and disputes within companies and partnerships.

You will manage matters from instruction to resolution, drafting pleadings and representing clients at court.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE.
• Strong experience within civil and/or commercial litigation.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and client care abilities.
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
• Confident managing your own caseload and working with minimal supervision.
• A proactive approach to business development would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handling a broad and varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters.
• Advising on contractual and debt disputes, property and boundary disputes, professional negligence, company and partnership disputes and contested probate matters.
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and other legal documentation.
• Representing clients at court and conducting settlement negotiations.
• Managing your own caseload while maintaining high standards of client care and file management.
• Providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to clients.
• Utilising ADR, mediation and negotiation wherever appropriate to achieve effective resolutions.
• Working closely with colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of the wider department.
