Job summary

Douglas Scott Global Recruitment is seeking a qualified Litigation Solicitor to join a Midlands firm in the Lichfield area. You will manage your own caseload across a variety of disputes and advise clients in commercial and civil matters.

The role offers an opportunity to supervise junior fee earners, build client relationships, and contribute to business development within the litigation team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Litigation Solicitor with 1–3+ years' PQE across Commercial and Civil Litigation.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Commercial and solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Interest in business development and developing your own client base.

Our client is a growing, forward-thinking law firm with a strong presence across the Midlands. They are looking to recruit a Litigation Solicitor to join their established Litigation team in the Lichfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive team, handling a varied caseload of Commercial and Civil Litigation matters.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload, advising clients across a broad range of disputes, including:

• Boundary disputes
• Residential and commercial landlord & tenant matters
• Contract disputes
• General commercial and civil litigation
• More complex contentious matters

You will also have the opportunity to supervise junior fee earners, develop client relationships and contribute to business development and the growth of the department.

About You

Our client is looking for a qualified Litigation Solicitor with 1–3+ years' PQE who has experience across Commercial and Civil Litigation.

You will ideally have:

• Strong litigation experience across a broad range of matters
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• A commercial and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• An interest in business development and developing your own client base
• A collaborative and proactive approach
