Douglas Scott Ltd is seeking a confident Litigation Solicitor in Leamington Spa to join an established, supportive firm. You will manage your own varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes, handling drafting, pleadings and client communications from instruction to conclusion.

Job description

Litigation Solicitor - 3 years PQE +

Location: Leamington Spa | Salary: £55K - £65K

An excellent opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE to join an established and supportive law firm with a friendly, approachable culture.

You will manage your own varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation, including:

• Contractual and commercial disputes
• Debt recovery
• Property and boundary disputes
• Professional negligence
• Company and partnership disputes
• Contested probate
• Mediation, negotiation and other ADR

You will provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice, manage matters from instruction through to conclusion, draft pleadings and correspondence, and represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings where required.

• Strong litigation, drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently
