Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting for a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Dispute Resolution team in Exeter in a hybrid, permanent role. The role covers litigation across commercial and civil matters with 0-5 PQE.

You will assist partners and senior lawyers, manage a varied caseload, and have opportunities to develop a niche and progress within a supportive, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 0-5 years PQE.
• Proactive approach to resolving disputes.
• Experience in contentious trusts/probate is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and collaborative work style.
• Commitment to delivering excellent client care.
• Keen to develop skills and build a long-term litigation career.

Responsibilities

• Assist partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload with exposure to disputed wills and trusts, commercial litigation, and disputes for businesses, charities, institutions and high net worth individuals.
• Conduct day-to-day file management with support to build and develop your own caseload and carve out a niche.
• Engage in regular team training, collaboration and wider firm activities.
