Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Litigation Lawyer to join the Office of the Advocate General in Edinburgh. The role involves managing a varied litigation caseload and advising UK Government departments on public and constitutional law matters.

You will work with Counsel and other legal professionals, represent clients in Court and Tribunal proceedings when required, and prioritise deadlines in a fast-paced environment with hybrid working in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Scottish-qualified Solicitor or Advocate with a valid practising certificate.
• Strong litigation experience and ability to manage complex matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join the Office of the Advocate General, the UK Government's Scottish Legal Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied and often high-profile caseload involving public law, judicial review, human rights, constitutional law, equality law and devolution matters.

Key contract Details:

• Salary: £63,758 - £334.77 per day LTD
• Paye: (INC) £284.00
• Queen Elizabeth House (QEH) Edinburgh - Hybrid, 40% office based
• Initial 6-month contract with possible extension 23 months
