Job summary

Fieldfisher's Employment, Pensions, Immigration and Compliance team in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Paralegal to support its growing litigation practice. You will assist Partners, a sitting Employment Judge and other team members with case handling, disclosure, E-Discovery and prep for hearings.

The role offers exposure to high quality work for leading UK brands, alongside opportunities to take responsibility for case progression and client contact in a fast‑growing, supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience as a Paralegal is required.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in employment and/or litigation work is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Review Employment Tribunal claims.
• Assess litigation strategy and document management.
• Liaise with clients on disclosure and provide case progression updates.
• Prepare early case assessments and trial bundles.
• Draft agendas for preliminary hearings and assist with witness statements.
• Attend hearings with Counsel and manage diary/tracker.
