Job summary

MPJ Recruitment in Blackburn is seeking an Experienced Litigator or Solicitor specialising in Personal Injury and Road Traffic Accident claims. You will manage a varied RTA/PI caseload from inception through to settlement or trial, in a supportive team with flexible hours and hybrid working.

The role requires 1.5–2 years' experience, strong CPR knowledge, and solid negotiation skills. Qualified Solicitor/Legal Exec or experienced fee earner considered, with a competitive salary and bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• 1.5–2 years' experience handling litigated RTA and/or Personal Injury matters.
• Strong knowledge of the CPR and litigation process.
• Experience managing Fast Track matters independently.
• Multi-Track experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced non-qualified fee earner.

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (Flexible hours and hybrid working arrangement available)

The Role

• You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of litigated RTA and Personal Injury matters from inception through to settlement or trial.

• A minimum of 1.5 - 2 years' experience handling litigated RTA and/or Personal Injury matters
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation process
• Experience managing Fast Track matters independently
• Multi-Track experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• A proactive and results-driven approach
• Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced non-qualified fee earner
