Den Hartogh Logistics in Immingham is seeking a motivated Transport Planner to join the Liquids Team. You will plan, schedule and oversee daily transport operations, coordinating drivers and intermodal movements to meet customer and service levels while ensuring safety and cost efficiency.

You will build strong relationships with drivers, internal teams and suppliers, monitor real-time operations, ensure compliance with ADR and Working Time Directive, and use TMS dashboards to drive KPI

Qualifikationen

• CPC qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance.
• Experience in transport coordination or administration, including planning and route optimisation.
• Effective problem-solving skills and quick decision-making in operations.
• Strong communication skills with drivers, management and customers.
• Proficient IT skills and quick learner of TMS and compliance systems.
• Exposure to audits or safety inspections is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Plan, schedule and oversee daily transport operations, including trailers, drivers and intermodal movements.
• Monitor operations in real time and resolve issues to maintain service continuity.
• Communicate with drivers and stakeholders to ensure accurate trip information.
• Ensure compliance with ADR, WTD and driver hours regulations.
• Manage costs by tracking exceptions and maintaining asset readiness.
• Maintain planning data in the Transport Management System and use dashboards to drive KPI performance.
