Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Linux Administrator to support and develop Linux infrastructure within a highly technical engineering environment in Cambridge. You will join an Infrastructure Team designing, implementing and supporting Linux systems across corporate and secure environments.

The role focuses on reliability, security and scalable solutions, with collaboration across engineers, project teams and cyber security specialists to deliver modern infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience (physical and virtual)
• Debian or Red Hat Linux distributions
• Networking knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Linux security
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Landscape, Foreman or Satellite
• Experience with scripting or programming for administration and automation tasks
• Appreciation of secure-by-design and DevOps principles

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Linux systems across corporate and secure environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams and cyber security specialists to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to modern, secure infrastructure solutions.
• Take ownership of Linux and network services and influence delivery across the organisation.
