Job summary

Claremont Consulting Solutions Ltd is seeking a Production Support / Systems Engineer to drive patching and automation across Linux environments, both on premises and in the cloud. You will monitor and resolve issues on a 24x7 trading platform and contribute to runbooks that cut manual work.

You'll bring 3+ years in a demanding setting, solid Linux and scripting skills, and a reliability mindset with a passion for automation. Exposure to observability tooling and AWS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production support or systems engineering in a demanding environment.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and scripting (Python or Bash).
• A reliability mindset with drive to automate and reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

• Drive patching and automation across the Linux environment, on premise and in the cloud.
• Monitor, triage and resolve production issues on the systematic trading platform.
• Contribute to automation, tooling and runbooks to reduce manual work and prevent repeat incidents.
• Take part in follow-the-Sun on-call rota and handovers with other regions.
• Grow ownership of services and depth across the platform.
