Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. is seeking two Linux Site Reliability Engineers to join a global trading platform team. The role combines production support with platform improvement, focusing on Linux availability, resilience, security and performance across APAC/EMEA, London and New York.

The position is 6 months, London/Hybrid, paying £530-£580 per day Inside IR35. Initially 4 days onsite, reducing to 2 days per week over time, with a follow-the-sun support model.

Qualifications

• Background in Linux engineering, production support, platform engineering or SRE.
• Strong hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting skills within a production environment.
• Ability to support highly available, business-critical infrastructure.
• Strong scripting skills using Python and/or Bash.
• Demonstrable ability to develop automation and improve operational processes.
• A proactive engineering mindset, with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, maintain and support a business-critical Linux production environment.
• Proactively investigate and resolve production incidents, taking ownership through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot Linux, infrastructure and platform-related issues.
• Manage Linux patching and lifecycle activities across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency and eliminate repetitive manual processes.
• Utilise monitoring and observability tools to maintain platform health and identify potential issues.
• Participate in regional handovers and a global follow-the-sun support and on-call rota.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to continually improve platform stability and resilience.
