Job summary

ARC IT Recruitment is seeking a Cloud Engineer with Azure experience to join a growing technology team in London, operating in a hybrid model with two in-office days. You’ll help design, build and support a modern cloud-native environment and collaborate with development and data teams.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to Azure platform management, DevOps and automation, with a focus on security and cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and help develop the Azure platform and related technologies.
• Work with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git.

• Support cloud security, identity and compliance initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring, optimizing the Azure environment and cloud costs.
• Collaborate with development and data teams across services such as SQL Azure.
• Contribute to platform improvements, upgrades and migrations.

London | £40,000–£60,000 | Hybrid (2 days in office)

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with Azure experience to join a growing technology team and play an important role in supporting and developing a modern, cloud-native environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has some hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and is looking to take the next step in their career. You don’t need to have years of experience across every area of the specification — we’re particularly interested in someone with the right attitude, aptitude and enthusiasm to learn.

You’ll have the opportunity to build your experience across Azure platform management, DevOps, automation, security and cloud operations, working closely with development and data teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting and helping develop the Azure platform and associated technologies
• Working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git
• Contributing to automation and improving cloud operational processes
• Supporting cloud security, identity and compliance initiatives
• Helping monitor and optimise the Azure environment, including cloud costs
• Working with development and data teams across services including SQL Azure and other cloud-native technologies
• Contributing to platform improvements, upgrades and migrations
• Working with internal stakeholders and third‑party partners where required

What we’re looking for:

• Some practical experience working with Microsoft Azure
• An understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles
• Some experience with Azure DevOps and Git
• An interest in cloud security, automation and cloud‑native technologies
• Good problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
