The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Linux desktop client software development, strong skills in Git and CI/CD practices, and knowledge of packaging for major Linux distributions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development of Linux-based desktop client software.
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD).
• Open-source Linux development and distribution for multiple distros.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of the Proton Drive Linux desktop client.
• Ensure the codebase meets the standard expected of production open-source software.
• Integrate with Linux-specific system components for synchronization.
