NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a capable Linen Services supervisor to lead a laundry/sewing room team and ensure ISO quality targets are met. The role involves line management, training, and maintaining safety standards across shifts.

Experience in laundry settings, strong knowledge of equipment and Health & Safety issues are essential. The working pattern includes late afternoon/evening shifts, with attractive NHS benefits and pension.

Formación

• Experience within laundry/sewing room setting.
• Previous line management experience.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment, laundry room and related chemicals.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety issues.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve and maintain production targets of section by effectively utilizing staff and equipment.
• Achieve and maintain quality targets in relation to ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Provide and maintain a safe working environment through risk assessments and staff health & safety training.
• Line management responsibility for section staff including training manuals, log books, and daily equipment checks.
