Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is recruiting a Linen Services Supervisor to lead the Linen Service team across QMC/City sites. You will ensure a high quality linen supply for the Trust, drive daily productivity and meet PPOH targets to support patient care.

The role involves staff management, rota planning, annual appraisals and developing a multi-skilled team, with responsibilities across laundry operations and soiled/foul linen handling.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Math or equivalent
• ILM Team Leader award level 3 or supervisory training
• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Laundry/Housekeeping/Facilities
• IOSH Working Safely certificate
• Health and Safety Training

Responsibilities

• Lead Linen Service Assistants and supervise daily operations
• Manage rotas and staff development plans
• Ensure delivery of clean linen for the Trust and meet PPOH targets
• Deputise for Linen Production Manager as required
• Provide annual appraisals and set short/medium/long-term goals
