Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel is hiring a part-time Linen Porter to help maintain pristine guest spaces. The role involves managing linen stocks, operating on-site washers, and ensuring timely delivery of clean linen to each floor. You will support housekeeping with general cleaning duties as needed.

• Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays where applicable.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Hotel Linen Porter to join our team. As a Linen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort our guests expect. Your primary responsibilities will include

Key Elements of the Role include

• Assessing and maintaining linen stock levels
• Cleaning and maintaining washer and driers
• Washing towels on site and sorting soiled linen to be sent to the linen company
• Delivering linen and stock deliveries to risers on each floor
• Assisting with general cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas as needed designated by the manager/supervisor

Successful Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided and be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays where applicable
• Part time flexible hours and able to work additional hours if required at short noticeDemonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads
• Effective planning
• Good people skills
