Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Team Member to help keep our luxury rooms and public areas pristine, ensuring guest comfort and memorable stays.

This role is physical and requires weekend work; it offers a base rate of £12.71 per hour plus service charge, with progression opportunities through The Belfry Campus.

Qualifications

• Maintaining quality standards of linen
• Ensuring all used linen has been collected
• Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis
• To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
• Keep corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips
• Ensure fantastic customer service when in contact with guests around the resort
• Ensure the equipment rooms are at the standard set out by the House keeping management team
• Refill room condiments / room trollies at the end of the day
• Record linen in / out of the rooms allocated
• Be able to manage your time effectively
• Keep on top of the upkeep of the public areas throughout the Resort
• To keep on top of any administration relevant to the position and handed to the team leader on duty
• To attend all housekeeping team meetings
• You will be required to work weekends

The base annual rate for this role is £12.71 per annum, plus service charge.

About the role

This role is ideal for anyone with a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g. Hospital Porter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / Stockroom Assistant. Duties of the job Include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining quality standards of linen
• Ensuring all used linen has been collected
• Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis
• To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
• Keep corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips
