Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working on packaging lines or similar production environments.
• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Daily start-up of the line and correct AFP setup for glass and plastic sheets.
• Ensure packaging, sealing, printing and traceability meet legal weight and quality.
• Monitor progress, downtime and staffing; report to the Pre-pack Team Leader.
• Report issues timely to Pre-pack Team Leader and Maintenance.
• Pro-actively communicate with staff, line leaders, team leaders and managers.
• Support continuous improvements on the line and processes.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and GMP.
• Support end of shift hygiene with planned clean-down.
• Follow the production plan in line with current bag rates.
• Take on any other duties as required or deemed necessary.

Pre-Pack Line Supervisor

Job Title: Supervisor

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wages: £14.75 per hour up to 40 hours, overtime available

Key responsibilities:

• Daily start up and Glass & Plastic sheets done correctly & on time on AFP
• Ensuring all products from the machine are packed/sealed/with the correct print and traceability and within legal parameters in both weight and quality
• Monitor/communicate/report progress, downtime & staffing to Pre-pack Team leader
• Report issues to Pre-pack team leader & Maintenance in a timely manner through either face to face or by the Factory groups
• Pro-actively communicate with staff, Line leaders, Team leaders & Managers
• Pro-actively support continuous improvements
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping & GMP
• Support end of shift Hygiene needs by ensuring staff are compliant with the planned "Clean down"
• Meet all GMP & H&S Targets
• Follow and complete the production plan in line with the current bag rates.
