Job summary

Flamingo Group is seeking a candidate in Stevenage to assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in Pack house operations. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient labeling and production processes, capturing waste accurately, and maintaining high communication standards throughout the operation.

The ideal candidate will have administrative skills and familiarity with ERP systems. Benefits include 33 days holiday, health cash plan, and a workplace pension.

Qualifications

• Must have sound administrative skills.
• Must have a flexible approach to work.
• Some previous experience preferable.
• Be familiar with and have a good understanding of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of all plans and systems to capture waste.
• Meet and improve efficiency targets per hour.
• Ensure all product labels are received in line with specifications.
• Complete necessary tasks such as audits and control boards.
• Report serious disciplinary issues to a supervisor.

Job description

To assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in the day to day running of the Pack house supporting and assisting the key staff and ensuring all duties are carried out correctly and efficiently, also enforcing the companies procedures and policies.

Dimensions of the Job

Line process: Responsible for controlling all aspects of labelling/production and/or decant processes and controls within the company’s existing policies and procedures.

Communication:Maintain a high level of communication with all other areas of the operation

Principle Accountabilities

• To ensure accuracy of all plans and that the systems are in place to capture waste, ensure correct labels are made and distributed via your team.
• To ensure efficiency targets per hour standards are met and are improved
• To ensure all product labels are received and accepted in line with the current product specification
• To complete all necessary tasks such as pit stops, escalation of issues, 5 S audits and SIC control boards.
• To report serious disciplinary issues to a supervisor / manager

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications

• Must have sound administrative skills
• Must have a flexible approach to work
• Some previous experience preferable
• Be familiar with and have a good understanding of ERP systems
