Job summary

Nestlé UK&I is hiring two Line Operators for our Dalston, Cumbria manufacturing site. The roles are fixed-term contracts for 12 months, reporting to the Shift Manager, with training provided to operate safely on a highly automated PLC controlled process plant.

You will work in the bagging area on one of our production lines, ensuring safe, efficient operation and adherence to Nestlé safety and quality standards. Shift pattern 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ideally, experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• FMCG experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous Line Operator experience or similar is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team delivering safety, quality and production compliance.

Responsibilities

• Run equipment adhering to Nestlé safety and quality standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient running of your work area per Nestlé standards.
• Apply TPM's 5 golden rules to improve line performance.
• Continuously update your technical and operational skills.
