Job summary

Nestlé Dalston Factory in Cumbria is seeking a talented Process Specialist. You will be the process expert, driving optimization, standardisation, and robust operating standards across wet mix processes and packaging lines.

You will lead trials and change controls, working with technical teams to deliver safer, more efficient production and improved product quality. This permanent role reports to the Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments, FMCG or food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ability to define, validate and standardise process parameters.
• Proven track record of driving practical process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define, validate and optimise process parameters for newly commissioned equipment.
• Develop and maintain operating standards, recipes and work instructions.
• Analyse KPIs, material losses and resource use to improve stability, efficiency and quality.
• Lead trials, change controls and risk assessments to implement improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams and operators to embed best practices.
