Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a Line Leader to support the daily operation of the production line and drive quality and performance. You will work closely with the Area Manager to develop capability, maintain standards and ensure targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

In this role you will train and develop operators, monitor performance, and champion continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily running of the production line with the Area Manager.
• Support line performance to meet production targets, run speeds and quality standards.
• Train and develop new starters and existing operatives to build a multi-skilled team.
• Monitor team performance and contribute to individual training plans.
• Identify production challenges and support corrective actions to minimise disruption.
• Promote adherence to health and safety, food safety and technical standards.
• Encourage quality-focused behaviours and identify non-conforming products.
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards through a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Complete production paperwork, checks and records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
