Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Gifting Line Leader at our Chatteris site to lead a team ensuring gift hampers and gifting products are assembled, packed, and presented to high quality standards while hitting daily production targets. Transport is available from Peterborough.

The role is full-time, day shift with a 10-hour pattern (10h per day, 4 days/week) and potential night shifts during peak periods such as Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother’s Day.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of production operatives to meet daily targets.

• Allocate tasks, train and coach staff, promote safety and teamwork.
• Monitor stock, minimise waste, and report shortages.

Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Gifting Line Leader at our client's Chatteris site, helping to deliver high-quality gift hampers and gifting products for major UK retailers.

Staffline is recruiting for a Gifting Line Leader in Chatteris.

In this role, you will lead a team of operatives, ensuring gifting products are assembled, packed, and presented to the highest quality standards while meeting daily production targets.

Transport is available for workers travelling from Peterborough.

The rate of pay is:

• Day shift is paid at £14.50 per hour
• Overtime is paid at £22.66 per hour

This is a full-time, day-shift position.

The standard shift pattern is 10 hours per day, 4 days per week. Typical shifts will fall on either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.

Working hours:

• 07:30am to 06:30pm

Please note you must be flexible and willing to work on night shift during Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day peaks.

Your Time at Work

• Leading and supporting a team of production operatives, ensuring daily production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Oversee the assembly and packaging of gift hampers, making sure all products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and presentation requirements.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process and resolve any issues that may impact productivity or customer orders.
• Allocate tasks, provide training and coaching, and promote high standards of teamwork, safety, and performance.
• Monitor stock availability, minimise waste, and report shortages or production concerns to management.
