Kew Green Hotels is hiring a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team in the UK. You will cook and present dishes to recipe standards, support daily specials, and maintain clean prep areas while following food safety standards.

Training through our Chef Academy and a funded Level 2 Commis Chef qualification are available. The role offers career development through fully funded apprenticeships, discounts on hotel stays, gym access, and wellbeing support, with a focus on teamwork and guest

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in restaurant, hotel, pub or similar, or willingness to learn via our Chef Academy and funded Level 2 Commis Chef qualification.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Basic Food Safety certification or willingness to complete training.

Responsabilités

• Cook and present dishes to recipe standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Support the creation of daily specials to showcase skills and excite guests.
• Keep food prep areas stocked, clean, and ready throughout service.
• Follow food safety standards and help minimise waste.
• Work with the team and Kitchen Manager to deliver excellent guest experiences.
