Job summary

Ashridge House is seeking a talented line chef to join our Food Production team at Ashridge House, Berkhamsted. You will work in a high-volume kitchen delivering a range of dining experiences from banqueting to high-end restaurant and café service.

We value local, seasonal produce and a commitment to high standards. You will grow your skills, identify strengths and areas for development, with support to reach your goals in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
• High level of hygiene and cleanliness required.
• Able to cover shifts starting 6am, 2pm, seven days a week.
• Must be able to commute to Ashridge House.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality food meeting dietary requirements.
• Quality control of each dish in execution and presentation.
• Communicate clearly with the front of house team to ensure smooth service delivery.
