Job summary

Ashridge House is seeking two casual Kitchen Porters to support our Food Production team at Ashridge House, Berkhamsted. You will perform basic cleaning tasks in the kitchen, help with deliveries, washing pots and pans, and maintain hygiene standards to ensure smooth service during events and daily operations.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work in a team, proactive, and able to work evenings and weekends. A driving license and transport access are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work as part of a team.
• Able to use their own initiative.
• Hard working and reliable.
• Works well under pressure.
• Must hold a driving license, with access to their own transport.
• Good level of hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning food preparation areas, which includes changing the bins and cleaning the floor.
• Washing pots and pans.
• Cleaning equipment.
• Taking in and putting deliveries away.
