Job summary

Quest Employment is seeking a Line Chef for a busy food production team near Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The role focuses on local, seasonal, nose-to-tail produce in a fast-paced kitchen across banqueting, outdoor barbecues, fine dining and cafe service.

Shifts start at 6:00 AM on a 7-day rota. Driver with private transport is preferred due to the remote location. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce high-quality dishes, including accommodating specific dietary requirements.
• Maintain strict quality control on all food items regarding both presentation and execution.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold exceptional standards of food hygiene, station cleanliness, and safety regulations.
